Functional training:
This type of exercise forces you to move several parts of the body by working them simultaneously, thus becoming the opposite of specific muscular work. They combine very different movements, such as sit-ups, running and jumping. There is also a great alternation of equipment used: bars, ropes, discs, weights, balls, etc.
Functional training has a high power of defining our body’s muscles without atrophying them.
Strength training:
It is without a doubt, and will always continue to be, one of the main trends in the fitness world. This type of training consists of exercises designed to strengthen certain areas and therefore have an important role in health, such as preventing diseases, increasing bone mass or rehabilitating injuries. It is also very important for high-performance athletes, because it acts as a “means to increase performance” and “injury prevention” and is very useful for reducing flaccidity and increasing lean mass. It is recommended that loads be increased as training sessions increase to facilitate adaptation and avoid injuries.
Important: Along with exercise, you should always follow a pre-workout and post-workout meal plan, without forgetting rest, which is also important.
